Courageous Conversation: On the last Monday of the month, Holy Cross Church, Austin hosts a gathering known as Courageous Conversation. The parish invites a guest speaker do a presentation on contemporary issues and topics. This is followed by small group discussion on the topic, their responses and possible actions to address the issue. The link provides a sample of the gathering for Monday, February 27th. This is a terrific idea to invite Catholic professionals and leaders from the community to discuss contemporary issues and discover ways for parishioners to put Faith in Action.
